The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) has partnered with the New York Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) to hold a special sale under the banner “Stand with Israel.”
The event will take place from November 27 to 30 on the new trading floor of the DDC.
The organizations are hosting the special sale because of the ongoing war with Hamas and the negative effect it has had on the Israeli economy, the IDE said Wednesday. It’s also a way for US diamond traders to support the Israeli industry, it added.
“We hope to see a huge turnout of diamantaires who ‘Stand with Israel’ at this challenging time,” said IDE president Boaz Moldawsky. “In the past we have held Israeli Diamond Weeks at the DDC, which were always successful, but in light of the special circumstances this event will be especially meaningful.”
The initiative includes a marketing campaign.
