Top Executive Exits Mountain Province

Mountain Province’s chief financial officer, Steven Thomas, has stepped down.

Thomas will continue to support the firm in an advisory role during the transition process, the miner said Monday. He is leaving his position on September 1 to pursue other opportunities.

“[Thomas] has made a significant contribution to Mountain Province over the past four years and has helped guide the company through a period of considerable change and challenge,” said Mountain Province CEO Jonathan Comerford. “He has been a highly professional and dedicated member of the leadership team, and I would like to personally thank him for his support and commitment. We are pleased that he will continue to assist the company during the transition period, and we wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.”

The company has not announced a replacement for the position.
