Chow Tai Fook Brings On New Chief to Lead International Expansion 

Chow Tai Fook has hired Gabriela Ferreira as international general manager, to head up the company’s expansion in Southeast Asia and other markets outside of China and Hong Kong. 

Ferreira, who was previously general manager for Southeast Asia and Oceania at luxury house Loewe, will build a team in Singapore and focus on enhancing brand desirability, Chow Tai Fook said last week. In the newly created role, Ferreira will identify new point-of-sale growth opportunities in the region for the Hong Kong jeweler and will also oversee the company’s product mix and direct retail, wholesale and travel retail channels in international regions.  

“In line with our strategic direction, Gaby will drive the expansion of Chow Tai Fook’s retail network in popular travel retail markets and in areas with a significant customer population who understand and appreciate Chinese culture, art and beauty, all of which Chow Tai Fook brings to life through its collections, brand and overall customer experience,” said Chow Tai Fook managing director Kent Wong. “Gaby’s industry expertise will be invaluable as we continue to explore opportunities in existing and new international markets where we see strong existing and future demand for our collections.” 

Chow Tai Fook has international operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, Korea, Canada and the US. 

In her new role, Ferreira will report directly to Wong.
