A pair of Boucheron diamond-cluster earrings beat its upper estimate at a recent jewelry sale at Christie’s in New York, bringing in $567,000.
The pair, which carried a high price of $550,000, contains pear brilliant-cut, D-color diamonds weighing 8.01, 7.28, 2.45 and 2.07 carats. The lot was the highlight of the Jewels Online auction, which ran from September 4 to 11 and garnered a total of $10.2 million, according to Christie’s.

A ring with a pear brilliant-cut, 8.88-carat, D-color, VVS1-clarity diamond, sold without reserve, went for $378,000, within estimates.
This oval modified brilliant-cut, 18.02-carat, fancy-intense-yellow, VVS2-clarity diamond ring brought in $365,400, within its presale range.
Christie’s sold this cushion mixed-cut, 3.70-carat Kashmir sapphire and diamond ring for $340,200, well above its $250,000 upper estimate.
A pair of earrings, each with a cushion mixed-cut Burmese sapphire, weighing 11.74 and 10.82 carats, as well as diamonds, surpassed its $300,000 high price to fetch $315,000.
An Art Deco style ring featuring an oval mixed-cut, 6.42-carat Kashmir sapphire brought in $252,000, within estimates.
This bracelet, with variously shaped colored diamonds in blue, pink, orange, yellow, grey, green and brown ranging from 0.32 to 1.97 carats, went for $226,800, within its expected range.
This ring, with a rectangular emerald-cut, 99.59-carat Ceylon sapphire and diamonds, circa 1950, more than sailed past its $100,000 upper price tag to bring in $201,600.
The auction house made $176,400 from this emerald-cut, 5.02-carat. D-flawless diamond ring. The final price was within estimates.
A ring by Tiffany & Co. with a cushion modified brilliant-cut, 11.05-carat, fancy-yellow, VVS2-clarity diamond center stone, surrounded by two rows of white diamonds, went for $176,400, within its presale range.
