Frédéric Arnault will become the new CEO of LVMH’s watch division, overseeing the company’s TAG Heuer, Hublot and Zenith brands.

Arnault, the son of the French luxury conglomerate’s owner, Bernard Arnault, has been CEO and chairman of TAG Heuer since 2020. After leading the transformation and acceleration of that brand, he will be tasked with doing the same for the rest of the watch lines as well as strengthening LVMH’s position in the watchmaking sector, LVMH said last week.

Zenith CEO Julien Tornare will take over as head of TAG Heuer, while Benoit de Clerck, who previously worked at Richemont, will succeed Tornare at Zenith. Tornare, de Clerck and Ricardo Guadalupe, the CEO of Hublot, will report to Frédéric Arnault, while Arnault will report to Stéphane Bianchi, CEO of watches and jewelry at LVMH.

“Frédéric has done a tremendous job at TAG Heuer over the past six years,” said Bianchi. “His unique and disruptive vision for the watchmaking industry led to a spectacular transformation for TAG Heuer, which recovered its credentials in record time as the luxury watch brand driven by high performance. I am…eager to see what his unique insights and vision will bring to fuel additional and sustainable growth for [our watch maisons].”
