Christie’s will auction more than 280 lots of designer and art jewelry, including a group of pieces by Jean Vendome, some of which it will sell without reserve.
Those pieces will be among an offering estimated to fetch between EUR 5.5 million and EUR 8.4 million ($5.8 and $8.9 million) at the December 6 to 17 Joaillerie Paris sale, Christie’s said last week. The online auction will also include pieces by Boucheron, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Cartier as well as a collection belonging to a member of the Monaco princely family’s entourage.
Among the pieces at the sale will be a Burmese ruby and diamond ring, which is expected to realize between EUR 100,000 to EUR 150,000 ($105,525 to $158,289).
