Buccellati Exec to Head Board of New Richemont Jewelry Acquisition 

Richemont has named Buccellati’s Gianluca Brozzetti as executive vice president of new jewelry acquisition Vhernier’s board in an interim CEO role.  

Brozzetti will take on the new position immediately while continuing as executive vice president of the Swiss luxury conglomerate’s Buccellati jewelry brand, the company said Friday. The move comes following Richemont’s purchase of the Italian jeweler in May.  

Meanwhile, Vhernier CEO Maurizio Traglio will become chairman of the board of the brand’s European business, and Carlo Traglio, chairman of the European business, will transition to the role of US chairman. Isabella Traglio will stay on as head of design and research and development. 

“Vhernier has long been admired for the unique contemporary and essential design of its creations,” said Brozzetti. “Over the coming years, our focus will be on consolidating its success and expanding its network of boutiques, leveraging its exquisite ‘made in Italy’ craftsmanship.”
