Sarine has inaugurated its new laboratory in Mumbai, expanding its presence in India.
The opening of GCAL by Sarine’s new jewelry certification and quality assurance lab in the Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ) will strengthen its presence in the sector, Sarine, an Israel-based diamond-technology company, reported Monday.
SEEPZ is a major gem and jewelry manufacturing and export hub in India. GCAL by Sarine’s presence there will bring its grading services closer to manufacturers and exporters, improving accessibility and logistics.
“The opening of our SEEPZ lab expands GCAL by Sarine’s capabilities in India into jewelry certification and brings our services closer to manufacturers and exporters,” said GCAL president Angelo Palmieri. “For our retail, wholesale and manufacturing customers, proximity and logistical efficiency are increasingly important, and this new facility enables us to serve them more effectively.”
GCAL by Sarine’s new Mumbai facility complements its existing grading laboratories in Surat and New York, providing coverage across India’s diamond and jewelry manufacturing sectors and connecting key production centers with the US market.
