Jewelry Manufacturer Unique Designs Acquires China Pearl

New York-based Jewelry design and manufacturing company Unique Designs has purchased the complete business and assets of China Pearl, a move that will enable it to offer a broader selection of goods.

China Pearl, a California-based company founded in 1983, carries an extensive inventory of premium pearls and services customers from department stores and chain stores to independent retailers, Unique Designs said Tuesday. In addition to selling the gems itself, China Pearl also produces pearl jewelry under several brand labels.

We are confident that this new addition will significantly diversify the range of jewelry offerings from our group, providing our clients with a wider spectrum of products.”

Unique Designs also owns lab-grown diamond supplier Mercury Ring as well as fashion-jewelry design house Tanya Creations.
