Jared Debuts Higher-Value Designer Jewelry Line

Jared has introduced a luxury collection with items bearing price tags of up to six figures in response to consumer demand for higher-end jewelry.

The line, created in partnership with jewelry designer Shy Dayan, consists of 14 jewels set with white diamonds, fancy-yellow diamonds and emeralds, Ann Grimmett, vice president of merchandising for the Signet Jewelers-owned banner told Rapaport News Monday. Called Jared Atelier x Shy Dayan, the collection includes earrings, necklaces and bracelets with total diamond weights of up to 50 carats, ranging from $30,000 to $175,000.

“We have customers that are looking for ‘fantasy gift’ options,” Grimmett said. “We have loyal customers who spend six figures annually with us. We know that we have a customer who is willing to buy high retail items and is looking for more options in this space.”

Jared will offer the collection on its website, as well as in a few select stores, it noted. Customers will also be able to book a concierge appointment to buy the jewelry at any Jared store.

The retailer believes it could establish further partnerships to introduce more high-value lines in the future.

“As Jared continues to elevate into accessible luxury, collections like [this one] are really the top of the spear of what we are bringing to our guests,” Grimmett added. “The most compelling part of this product is the value we can bring to our guests at these price points.”
