Grading laboratory Gemological Science International (GSI) has appointed Monika Biernacka as its executive vice president of operations.
Biernacka will focus on enhancing the client experience and developing and executing new sales and operational initiatives, GSI said last week in a statement announcing the hire. According to LinkedIn, she joins from International Gemological Institute (IGI), where she spent more than 28 years, most recently as director of sales.
“Our team is made up of leaders from the diamond and jewelry industry, and I am confident that Monika’s experience and vast industry knowledge will help GSI achieve continued growth and success,” said GSI president and cofounder Debbie Azar.
