GEMTalks Puts Lab-Grown Under the Microscope 

The fourth episode of Rapaport’s GEMTalks series will feature a discussion on the evolution of lab-grown diamonds with special guests Tom Moses and Dr. Wuyi Wang of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). 

Moses, executive vice president and chief laboratory and research officer at the GIA, and Wang, the institute’s vice president for research and development, will speak with Rapaport’s Leah Meirovich about how and when synthetics first came on the market, the various rules surrounding its nomenclature, and the impact they have had on natural diamonds.
