The Accredited Gemologists Association (AGA) has appointed new members to its board of governors for a three-year term.

Gary Roskin, Martin Fuller and Alberto Scarani have joined the board and will serve on it from 2023 to 2026, the AGA said Monday. Gina D’Onofrio, Antoinette Matlins and Donna Hawrelko have returned for another term.

Meanwhile, Teri Brossmer will serve a second term as president, while Cigdem Lule will remain vice president. Adam Ostrow maintains the role of secretary, and Heidi Harders will be treasurer. AGA’s immediate past president, Stuart Robertson, joins them on the executive committee.

“AGA just witnessed the largest group of members answer our call to stand for election to the AGA board that the association has seen in decades,” said Brossmer. “Clearly, AGA’s growth and expanded educational programs, and advocacy for industry standards, is inspiring more and more members to volunteer time to AGA.”

The association will swear in its new board during the 2023 AGA Tucson Gemological Conference on February 1, 2023, AGA added.
