Two rings will be on offer at the upcoming Phillips jewelry sale in Geneva, one containing a fancy-vivid-blue diamond and the other a Kashmir sapphire.

The rings, featuring a 1.35-carat diamond and a 16.40 Kashmir sapphire between diamonds, both have an upper estimate of CHF 2.9 million ($3.5 million) at the November 9 Geneva Jewels Auction: VII sale, Phillips said last week.

Other notable jewels include a brooch/pendant from the late 19th century, sporting an 18.69-carat Kashmir sapphire in a surround of diamonds. The piece has a high price of CHF 1.2 million ($1.5 million). Phillips expects a pair of Harry Winston earrings bearing 9.67- and 10.29-carat Colombian emeralds, each suspended from diamonds, to fetch between CHF 600,000 and CHF 900,000 ($730,000 and $1.1 million).

The sale will also feature the Collections & Provenance section for the second time, offering period jewels, signed pieces and objects with exceptional provenance. Among the highlights of the section is a cultured pearl and diamond necklace circa 1928, formerly belonging to Mary of Teck, queen of the UK. It has a top estimate of CHF 180,000 ($220,000).
