A Malaysian businesswoman staying at the Ritz hotel in Paris filed a complaint with the police, suspecting a staff member had stolen a 6.51-carat diamond ring worth more than $800,000. Two days later, hotel security found the jewel and bagged the surprising culprit— a vacuum cleaner.

New research
Scientists have created a new near-unbreakable substance, according to a recent study published in the journal Advanced Materials, The Independent reveals.
