Rapaport Appoints Yosi Botzer as CTO to Lead AI Transformation

Rapaport has appointed Yosi Botzer, former Chief Technology Officer of Nasdaq-listed adtech company Perion Network (NASDAQ: PERI), as its new CTO, signalling its commitment to technology and AI led innovation in the natural diamond industry.

Botzer will lead Rapaport’s company-wide AI transformation, going beyond the introduction of AI tools to fundamentally rethink how the company develops technology, operates and delivers value to the natural diamond industry. This transformation will also extend to the Rapaport Price List, one of the industry’s most established and influential pricing tools. Rapaport is already applying AI to develop tools for the trade, including its new Ring Builder, designed to empower retailers to swiftly build bespoke ring designs for customers as they shop.

With over 20 years of experience building high-scale ad-tech and data platforms, Botzer has led technical strategy across five businesses acquired by Perion. Earlier in his career, he developed large-scale data systems at Datorama, which was subsequently acquired by Salesforce. He brings deep expertise in artificial intelligence, large language models and software architecture. A hands-on technology leader, Botzer is passionate about the intersection of AI and software development.

Dan Mano, CEO of Rapaport, commented:

“I’ve wanted Yosi to join Rapaport since I first came on board. He’s that rare technology leader who combines strategic vision with the ability to roll up his sleeves and write the code himself. His appointment sends a clear message – Rapaport is a technology company. By embracing AI and developing smarter solutions, we aim to fulfil our mission of safeguarding the prosperity of the natural diamond economy.”
