Data Man Erich Jacobs President, Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT) If I were a superhero, I would call myself Data Man. I would have the superpower of collecting, computing and disseminating mysterious data that no one else would be able to find and would enhance the understanding of technology and economics across the land.

Connecto Man Chris Zoettl General manager, Designer Diamonds If I were a superhero, I would probably call myself Connecto Man. No matter if it’s in my own business or as the Young Diamantaires worldwide event organizer, I love bringing people together. I think no matter where you are or where you’re from, it’s always important to connect, be nice to each other and have a good time. Bringing people together, making them feel at ease and having a beer together — that’s something I personally enjoy. I also think it’s important in building a better future together.

Mother Midas Lauren Harwell Godfrey Designer and founder, Harwell Godfrey If I could be a superhero, my superpower would be that everything I touch would turn to gold. My name would be Mother Midas, and I would be able to turn any object into gold, with the exception of food, drink and living creatures. It would, of course, be 18-karat gold for its color and versatility. My job suddenly just got so much easier!
