RAPAPORT…
Martin Rapaport called on traders to develop a niche for themselves, when he addressed attendees at International Diamond Week in Israel (IDWI).
“The idea that you have a specialized area where you are
the best…is a very healthy place to be, assuming there are customers for it,” the Rapaport Group Chairman said Monday in a
presentation at the Israel Diamond Exchange. “Find your place, find where
you’re an expert, and find your customers.”
One of those potential
niches is social responsibility, as consumers increasingly value products with
ethical sourcing, Rapaport explained.
IDWI runs this
week from Monday through Wednesday.
