The first Rapaport Diamond Podcast Short looks at the
holiday season just gone, following a mixed bag of sales results from the
majors.
Signet Jewelers and Tiffany & Co. both reported a drop
in revenues for the crucial period, yet there were some positive signs,
including an improvement in e-commerce sales at Signet. Plus, strong figures
from the owner of Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels indicated the high end may
be doing well.
