A yellow-diamond ring stole the show at a recent jewelry sale at Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas, where it fetched $337,500.
The ring, which features a pear-shaped, 14.14-carat, fancy-intense-yellow, VS1-clarity diamond flanked by two trillion-cut stones weighing a total of 2.10 carats, was the star of the May 5 Spring Fine Jewelry Signature Auction, Heritage said Wednesday. Its final sale price fell within its presale estimated range.
In total, the auction garnered $5.8 million. It included pieces from well-known designers such as Van Cleef & Arpels, David Webb, and Boucheron.
