Wesley Tucker will be leaving his position as CEO for De Beers company Tracr at the end of February 2026.

Tucker joined the De Beers group in 2021 as head of digital transformation. He later became CEO of Tracr, the miner’s blockchain-technology platform for diamond traceability, the company said Wednesday. Under his leadership, Tracr grew from a pilot program into an established digital traceability platform, with more than 4 million diamonds on its register.

“With Tracr now past its formative stage and accelerating into its scaling phase, this is a natural point for [Tucker] to step back after very successfully guiding the platform through its foundational journey,” said Paul Rowley, executive vice president of diamond trading. “His leadership, vision and commitment have positioned Tracr strongly for the future, and we wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.”

The company will release details about Tucker’s successor in due course, it said.
