Watches of Switzerland (WOS) saw strong sales in the first fiscal half amid high demand in the US market and the addition of the Roberto Coin brand to its jewelry stable.

Revenue rose 8% to GBP 845.1 million ($1.13 billion) for the six months that ended October 26, compared with the same period of 2024, the company reported last week. Profit climbed 53% year on year to GBP 44.4 million ($59.2 million).

By region, US sales grew 15% year on year to GBP 408.7 million ($544.7 million) — accounting for nearly 60% of the company’s profitability for the period — while revenue in the UK and Europe increased 2% to GBP 436.4 million ($581.6 million).

Sales at Roberto Coin, which the retailer acquired in 2024, more than doubled year on year, according to the company.

“The US remains the key driver of our performance, with robust demand across brands and categories,” said Watches of Switzerland CEO Brian Duffy. “One year in, we are even more excited about the scale of the opportunity for Roberto Coin…. In the UK, trading has been resilient in a challenging market, underpinned by the stability of the luxury watch segment.”

The retailer expects revenue for the full fiscal year to grow 6% to 10% at constant currency rates.

The UK-based business — which also owns the Mayors brand and watch site Hodinkee, as well as being a major retailer of Rolex watches — observed a strong start to the third quarter so far.

“The second half of the year has started well,” Duffy commented. “Trading is in line with expectations, and we are well placed as we enter the holiday trading period.”

Three new Roberto Coin boutiques are on the agenda for the third quarter: one in New York that opened in November, one set to open in Las Vegas this month, and a Miami location scheduled for January 2026.
