Trade Group Appoints New Chairman

RAPAPORT… The Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) has appointed Marco
Miserendino as chairman of its board of directors, it said Monday.

Miserendino (pictured) is the vice president and managing director of
Montreal jewelry store Bijouterie Italienne, which he co-owns with his sister,
Paola Miserendino. He is also an Independent Jewellers Organization Master
Jeweller.

Other members of the board include past co-chairmen Umesh
Shah of RJB Diamonds and Stephen Cole of Spicer Cole Fine Jewellers, as well as
first vice chairwoman Lena Nazzaro from Gucci Watch & Jewellery and second
vice chairman Kevin Kaye of Citizen Watch Co.

Miserendino will hold the position for the 2018-19 term.
