Stuller has promoted its president, Danny Clark, to CEO. He succeeds company founder Matt Stuller, who will remain as executive chairman of the board.

Current chief operating officer Belit Myers will serve as president, with the two new appointments taking effect January 1, the Lafayette, Louisiana-based jeweler said on Monday.

Clark joined the company 16 years ago, guiding it through transformation and growth while focusing on customer service, it said.

“I am both humbled and thrilled to serve the jewelry industry, our business partners, our customers, and employees worldwide as CEO,” he shared.

Myers will continue in her position as chief operating officer. She has worked at Stuller for 20 years, leading various business areas, including finance, manufacturing and information technology.

Matt Stuller, the current CEO, will continue to be involved in the company, which he founded in 1970. It has since grown from a small business into a 2,000-employee enterprise.

“I will remain fully engaged in Stuller’s mission to provide jewelers worldwide with a wide selection of products and friendly service you can count on,” he pledged.
