The top five jewels Sotheby’s will offer at its upcoming New York sale are all colored diamonds, including a blue that could bring in more than $6 million.
The unmounted cut-cornered rectangular modified brilliant, 10.02-carat, fancy-intense-blue, VS2-clarity diamond will lead the June 16 High Jewelry sale, according to Sotheby’s. The auction house is offering the winning bidder of the stone a chance to design its own jewel with the diamond as part of its Sotheby’s Bespoke service.
The sale will also feature pieces from important designers, including Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, and Reza.
Here are some of the other top jewels:

A ring with an oval-shaped, 5.02-carat, fancy-intense-pink, internally flawless diamond center stone, between two pear-shaped, light-pink diamonds weighing 0.44 and 0.42 carats.

This ring features a cut-cornered rectangular mixed-cut, 13.77-carat, fancy-light-purplish-pink, VS2 diamond.

A ring with a cushion modified brilliant-cut, 6.76-carat, fancy-greyish-blue, SI1 diamond center stone, in a pink-hued round-diamond surround, between shield-shaped diamonds.

An oval-shaped, 4.19-carat, fancy-purple-pink, VS1 diamond ring.

A Harry Winston necklace, which can also be worn as two bracelets. It features graduated pairs of round diamonds, alternating with marquise-shaped diamond clusters.

Also from Harry Winston, this diamond ring, offered without reserve, has a pear-shaped, 15.05-carat, D-color, internally flawless center stone, flanked by a pair of tapered baguette diamonds.

A cushion-cut, 23.40-carat, F, VS2 diamond ring.

An unmounted old mine brilliant-cut, 11.33-carat, D, VVS2, type IIa diamond ring, with the potential to be internally flawless.

This ring features an emerald-cut, 15.11-carat, D, VVS2 diamond between a pair of tapered baguette diamonds.

A ring centering a round cornered square modified brilliant-cut, 34.75-carat, fancy-intense-yellow, VS1 diamond between a pair of triangle-shaped diamonds.
