An 8.02-carat diamond was the top seller at the latest jewelry auction at Sotheby’s, bringing in $215,900.

The emerald-cut, H-color, VS1-clarity diamond ring beat its upper estimate of $200,000 to take the top spot at the New York Fine Jewels sale, which ended December 7. Two higher-priced pieces, a pear-shaped, 5.01-carat diamond ring by Boucheron and a ring bearing a 0.76-carat, fancy-red diamond, didn’t find buyers. Each of those items was estimated to fetch $200,000 to $300,000.

In total, Sotheby’s garnered $7.9 million at the auction.

Here are the rest of the top five jewels:

This Bulgari necklace containing 78 round diamonds weighing a total of 36.35 carats surged past its $120,000 presale high estimate to realize $190,500.

An emerald-cut, 7.85-carat, diamond ring by J. Landau with diamond accents weighing a total of 1.43 carats went for $177,800, within its estimate.
Sotheby’s sold this Tiffany & Co. ring bearing a round, 5.01-carat, E-color, VVS2-clarity diamond solitaire for $152,400, in the middle of its presale price range.
A ring by Valentin Magro featuring a cushion-cut, 7.71-carat, fancy-intense-yellow, VS2-clarity diamond achieved $101,600, within estimates.
