Signet Jewelers has promoted Jamie Singleton to group president and chief consumer officer amid a raft of changes to its senior management.

The executive reshuffle will take effect immediately, the retailer said in a statement Tuesday. It announced the news to partners in an internal letter earlier this week.

“We believe the changes we’re sharing today will help us further our evolution as we continue to innovate for our customers, accelerate our growth, strengthen our culture, and expand our leadership of the jewelry industry, while we continue to invest and develop our people,” Signet CEO Gina Drosos commented.

Singleton, who was previously Signet’s chief marketing officer and president for the Kay Jewelers, Zales and Peoples Jewellers banners, will oversee a four-person leadership team. They are:

  • Bill Brace, whom Signet has promoted to president of Kay from his role as president of Jared;
  • Kecia Caffie, former president of Banter by Piercing Pagoda and now Zales president, who will lead the development of designer-brands partnerships across Signet;
  • Amy Robinson, who has joined as president of Banter having most recently worked for Michaels Stores, a retailer of art supplies;
  • Stacee Johnson Williams, formerly North America senior vice president for merchandise planning and inventory, who takes on the position of managing director at Peoples and senior vice president for merchandise planning and inventory at Kay. She will report to Brace and will continue her leadership role in inventory management.

Meanwhile, Joan Hilson will assume the expanded role of chief financial, strategy and services officer as Signet accelerates its services division. Lisa Walker will be president of jewelry services, and Allison Vigil will remain president of jewelry-rental business Rocksbox.

Separately, Oded Edelman, chief digital innovation officer and president for pure-play retailers, will become overall head of e-commerce businesses R2Net, James Allen and Blue Nile. Bill Luth is taking on an expanded role as executive vice president of global store operations, which now encompasses more responsibilities for the Banter banner.
