Signet Brand Offers Free Lab-Grown for Valentine’s Day

Ernest Jones, a UK-based brand belonging to Signet Jewelers, is offering customers free lab-grown rings valued at up to GBP 2,000 ($2,723) with the purchase of a natural diamond.

The deal, a special for Valentine’s Day, will see shoppers get a ring with a 1-carat synthetic diamond worth GBP 1,000 ($1,361) when they shell out GBP 1,500 ($2,042) or more on selected natural diamonds, the company said in a promotion it publicized recently. Consumers who spend GBP 2,500 ($3,400) or more on a natural-diamond piece will receive a free 2-carat lab-grown worth GBP 2,000.

The UK chain is offering the special deal both online and in-store “whilst stocks last and are subject to availability,” it noted. The company did not specify how many units it had put aside for the deal. The offer is not available for items the jeweler already has on sale.

The company has also specified that a shopper who returns the original natural diamond purchase must also give back the lab-grown ring.
