A ring with a 6.59-carat sapphire led the recent Heritage jewelry auction in Dallas, Texas, where it garnered more than three times its upper estimate.
The ring centers an octagonal Kashmir sapphire between two trapezoid diamonds. The piece went for $906,250 against a $300,000 high price at the May 4 Spring Fine Jewelry Signature auction, Heritage said Wednesday. It was one of a number of pieces that soared past their upper estimates.
In total, the auction raked in $9.7 million, a record high for a jewelry sale for the company. This result comes just months after Heritage announced its previous $9.2 million record in September 2025, emphasizing steady momentum and solid demand for rare and high-quality jewels, the auction house added.
The sale showcased lots from famous design houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Bulgari, as well as diamonds and gemstones in various colors.
