A ring with a 7.19-carat pink sapphire will headline the upcoming jewelry auction at Christie’s in Geneva, where it could fetch up to CHF 250,000 ($309,888).
The piece features a cushion-shaped Burmese sapphire with 1 to 1.20 carats of diamonds. It’s one of more than 250 lots the auction house will offer at its November 18 Jewels Online sale, with several pieces dating from the early to the mid-20th century, according to the Christie’s website.
Numerous items originate from famous brands such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, and Cartier.
