Pandora has appointed André Branch as president of its North American cluster, where he will succeed Luciano Rodembusch in the role.

Branch, who was previously CEO at R.E.M. Beauty, has more than 25 years of experience across global consumer, beauty and lifestyle brands, the Danish jeweler said Tuesday. The position has been empty since Rodembusch left in February.

In his new role, Pandora will task Branch with leading the company’s growth across the cluster, deepening customer relevance, broadening the brand’s appeal and expanding the jeweler’s business by capturing the “significant growth opportunities” in the North American market, it said. The company considers North America a “key strategic growth engine,” it explained.

“[Branch] is a highly accomplished commercial leader with a strong track record of driving growth across global consumer businesses,” said Massimo Basei, chief commercial officer at Pandora. “His ability to combine strategic clarity with disciplined execution makes him exactly the right person to lead our North American business and drive the next phase of growth in the region.”

Branch will begin the new role on August 15.
