Christie’s sold a multi-gem ring featuring a 14.26-carat yellow diamond for HKD 1.5 million ($194,470) at its recent auction in Hong Kong.
The piece features a round brilliant-cut, 14.26-carat, fancy-light-yellow, VVS2-clarity diamond with round tsavorite garnets, colored diamonds and white diamonds. It fetched more than five times its HKD 280,000 ($35,730) high estimate at the Magnificent Jewels: Online sale, according to the auction house’s website.
In total, the sale raked in HKD 27.7 million ($3.5 million). The auction included colored diamonds and gemstones, as well as jewels from famous designers such as Bulgari, Chanel, and Van Cleef & Arpels.
