London Diamond Bourse Elects New Council

RAPAPORT… The London Diamond Bourse (LDB) has elected David Troostwyk as vice president in a shakeup of its leadership team.

Troostwyk, director of polished-diamond company Salotro, is already a member of the UK exchange’s board and works closely with the Young Diamantaires group.

The election took place on May 12 at the bourse’s first in-person annual general meeting (AGM) since 2019, it said last week. The Hatton Garden-based organization also elected its council of management, with four new members obtaining places: Tom Durrant, James Heath, Lewis Malka and Rosalyn Mulrooney.

“It is reassuring to see several younger members of the association take an interest and be elected to positions on the committee,” commented Stacey Aylott, chief operating officer of the LDB. “The council is more diverse than ever before, and I look forward to seeing where this new council will lead the bourse.”

The new council of management in full:

Alan Cohen — president
David Troostwyk — vice president
David Joffe — treasurer
Trevor Sigsworth — executive officer
Kathy Chappell
Paul Koppelman
Jacqui Larsson
Howard Levine
Charles Silverton
Tom Durrant

Lewis Malka
Rosalyn Mulrooney
