KP Sanghvi & Sons has announced the introduction of DiaDNA, a next-generation diamond traceability technology designed to deliver verifiable, end-to-end transparency across the supply chain — without altering the diamond itself.
“As expectations around provenance and responsible sourcing continue to rise across the global luxury industry, manufacturers play an increasingly critical role in ensuring integrity across the diamond supply chain,” says Aadesh Sanghvi, Executive Director of KP Sanghvi & Sons.
With decades of leadership in diamond manufacturing, KP Sanghvi continues to invest in solutions that support its partners amid evolving standards. DiaDNA represents a fundamental shift in how diamonds are authenticated and tracked. Rather than relying on external markings, documentation, or embedded tracers, it analyzes each diamond at an atomic level using advanced scanning and artificial intelligence. This process captures the stone’s intrinsic structure, generating a unique, immutable “fingerprint.” The diamond itself becomes its own permanent identifier throughout its lifecycle, making stones — from melee to large certified diamonds — traceable through the entire supply chain.
Each DiaDNA signature is securely recorded in a cloud-based system, enabling independent verification at any point in the supply chain — from manufacturing to retail. This allows maisons, retailers, and compliance teams to authenticate origin and track provenance with greater precision, strengthening trust with end consumers and reducing reliance on fragmented documentation.
DiaDNA is the result of years of technological collaboration and reflects KP Sanghvi’s long-standing commitment to innovation and ethical practices. As a founding industry partner in the development of the technology, the company has fully integrated DiaDNA into its Surat manufacturing operations since 2024.
With DiaDNA, KP Sanghvi sets a new benchmark for traceability — with transparency embedded directly in the diamond itself.
