Kering has appointed Jean-Marc Duplaix as CEO of its new Kering Jewelry entity.

The group created the integrated platform to bring together its jewelry houses and accelerate growth, Kering said Monday. It will combine the Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, and Qeelin jewelry brands, as well as the Raselli Franco manufacturing group. It will support each of the house’s creative identities and the growth of their iconic and high-jewelry collections.

Duplaix’s appointment to the helm of the new structure will take effect immediately. The executives of the jewelry houses will report to him, strengthening strategic alignment and operational coordination, it added. Meanwhile, Duplaix will continue in his position as the group’s chief operating officer, which includes managing finance, investor relations, digital and the general secretariat.

“With Kering Jewelry, we are giving the group a powerful and cohesive platform capable of supporting our houses’ ambitions in an area of expertise where creativity and excellence are inseparable,” said Kering CEO Luca de Meo. “I am delighted with the appointment of Jean-Marc: His experience will be instrumental in unlocking the group’s full potential in jewelry.”
