The Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT) has reelected Richard Katz as chairman for a one-year term.
Since 2008, the chief operating officer of Richline Group has volunteered on the board of the JBT, a nonprofit organization that provides credit reporting and collections services.
“Richard continues to bring great perspective to JBT’s strategies and operations,” said JBT president Erich Jacobs in a recent statement.
Katz and others were named to the board at JBT’s annual meeting on February 8. In addition to Katz, these officers and directors will serve a one-year term:
- First vice chairman: Brian D. Fleming, Carla Corporation, East Providence, Rhode Island
- Second vice chairman: Jeffery Corey, H. E. Murdock Company, Waterville, Maine
- President: Erich Jacobs
- Secretary: Brenda M. Pimentel
- Treasurer: Erich Jacobs
The following people were newly elected to the JBT board:
- Annie Doresca, chief financial officer of Jewelers of America, who was elected for a two-year term.
- Parag Jain of Parag Diamonds, who was elected for a one-year term.
Reelected to the board for a period of two years are:
- Matthijs Braakman, Retail Management Publishing, Montclair, New Jersey
- Jeffery Corey, H. E. Murdock Company, Waterville, Maine
- Brian D. Fleming, Carla Corporation, East Providence, Rhode Island
