Italian Exhibition Group Names Matteo Farsura Head of Jewelry

Vicenzaoro parent company Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) has appointed Matteo Farsura as global exhibition manager of its jewelry and fashion division.

Farsura, who previously worked for IEG as exhibition manager of its Vicenzaoro show, will succeed Marco Carniello, who will become chief business officer of the company’s new business division, the group said last week.

In his new role, Farsura will manage IEG’s jewelry shows, including Vicenzaoro, Oroarezzo, T.Gold, the Italian Jewelry Summit, Valenza Gem Forum, VO’Clock Privé and VO Vintage, which take place in Italy. He will also be responsible for the Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) event and the Singapore International Jewelry Expo (SIJE), as well FIMAST, a fair dedicated to hosiery and stockings.

Farsura first started at IEG in 2017, where he helped develop the company’s technology segment, before moving to work on the Arezzo events, and then to Vicenzaoro. Before joining IEG, he worked for a leading Italian fashion jewelry company.
