Hearts on Fire Names New China Chief

Hearts on Fire has appointed Dave Zhou as general manager for China, tasking him with expanding the jewelry brand’s presence in the region.

Zhou most recently worked as managing director of Asia for bridal group Pronovias, Hearts on Fire said Thursday. He has also held regional leadership positions for Hermès, Bottega Veneta and Lanvin. At the diamond-jewelry brand, Zhou will oversee the China teams responsible for commercial, marketing and communications, customer engagement, and retail operations.

“China is an important market for Hearts on Fire and represents a tremendous opportunity for us,” said Hearts on Fire global president Rita Maltez. “Dave’s extensive experience in successfully growing brands in this market, coupled with his entrepreneurial approach, will be instrumental in strengthening our market position as a leading fine-jewelry brand for Chinese consumers.”

Zhou will report to Maltez.
