Gemological Science International (GSI) has opened a laboratory at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in Mumbai, its third in the Indian city.
Services at the location include diamond-jewelry grading, gemstone-jewelry identification, and loose-diamond screening, the organization said Tuesday.
“We have opened our new laboratory in India to meet the increasing demand for our certification services in the jewelry market,” said Ramit Kapur, managing director of GSI India. “Our goal is to streamline operations and ensure prompt service delivery to meet customer deadlines effectively.”
