Fellows Auctioneers has hired industry veteran Paul Greer as its international head of jewelry.

Greer was previously the manager and codirector for UK-based fine-jewelry house Bentley & Skinner, where he was the official grantee for the firm’s royal warrants from Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles, Fellows said Tuesday.

During his career, Greer has worked with famous clients, including a stint as the project manager for artist Damien Hirst’s diamond-set skull sculpture For the Love of God.

“I am delighted to have Paul on board,” said Stephen Whittaker, managing director of Fellows. “He has a wealth of knowledge and experience which will not only be of benefit to our clients, but our team, too.”
