Emmanuelle Nodale will take the reins of jeweler De Beers London, leading the brand’s push toward global expansion.

Nodale, who has over 20 years of experience shaping and developing global brands, was most recently general manager for Europe at Kering-owned jeweler Pomellato. While there, she oversaw the brand’s expansion into key luxury markets, enhanced the client experience, and strengthened its high-jewelry positioning, De Beers said Wednesday.

The first move on Nodale’s agenda as brand CEO of De Beers London is to prepare for the opening of the company’s new Paris flagship boutique later this year, De Beers stated. That location will be the first to showcase the business’s new retail concept, which blends contemporary jewelry design with its traditional natural-diamond heritage.

“With our new identity firmly established and the upcoming launch of our Paris flagship, [Nodale’s] leadership will be instrumental in expanding and strengthening our position in the global luxury jewelry market as we continue to differentiate ourselves as the only luxury jewelry house with direct access to natural diamonds at their source,” said Sandrine Conseillier, CEO of De Beers brands.

In her new role, Nodale replaces Céline Assimon, who departed the company in February. That same month, the business changed its name to De Beers London from De Beers Jewellers as part of a rebrand to emphasize its place in the high-end market.
