A ring with a 9.22-carat emerald will take center stage at an upcoming jewelry auction at Phillips in Hong Kong, where it’s expected to bring in HKD 6.5 million ($833,000).
The piece contains a step-cut Colombian emerald in a trapeze-cut diamond frame. It will lead the March 30 Hong Kong Jewels Auction, according to the Phillips website.
The auction house will offer 89 lots, including jewels from famous designers such as Cartier, Bulgari and Graff.

This necklace comprises 11 graduated step-cut Colombian emeralds with a total weight of 45.94 carats, spaced by pear-shaped diamonds.

A House of Glenn Spiro necklace features a line of eight graduated natural pearls, highlighted by a pear-shaped 3.02-carat diamond, and decorated with natural pearls, seed pearls, oval, rose- and brilliant-cut diamonds, and icy jadeite hoops.

The auction house will offer a ring bearing an oval, 5.39-carat Burmese ruby framed by oval diamonds.

This ring centers a round-cornered rectangular modified brilliant-cut, 4.05-carat, fancy-light-pink diamond in a brilliant-cut diamond surround.

This necklace bears 56.98 carats of oval and cushion-shaped Burmese rubies, spaced by pear-shaped diamonds.

Another ruby necklace, this one comprising 27 oval and cushion-shaped Burmese rubies weighing 40 carats in total. The piece also suspends a tassel and features baguette, tapered baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds around the necklace.

This necklace sports a cut-cornered square modified brilliant-cut, 20.04-carat, fancy-intense-yellow, VS1-clarity diamond, framed by brilliant-cut diamonds of yellow-tint. It hangs from a surmount and link-chain necklace set with an array of diamond cuts, including yellow-hued stones.

A step-cut, 5.89-carat, Colombian emerald is the star of this ring. The gemstone is flanked by two trapezoid step-cut diamonds.

This bracelet features 15 graduated Burmese rubies totaling 30.21 carats, spaced by emerald-cut diamonds.
