Emerald and Diamond Bracelet Shines at Phillips Auction

A bracelet with diamonds and 16.09 carats of emeralds led the Phillips Hong Kong auction, where it sold for HKD 3.2 million ($406,213) just under its low estimate.

The piece, featuring 14 graduated step-cut emeralds interspersed with square emerald diamonds, was the top lot at the September 30 Hong Kong Jewels sale, according to the auction house’s website.

In total, Phillips brought in HKD 42.2 million ($5.4 million) with 71% of lots on offer finding buyers. The event included lots bearing colored diamonds and gemstones, as well as pieces from famous design houses such as Harry Winston, Cindy Chao and Graff.
