Beyoncé’s stylist, London Jewelers and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) were among those Diamonds Do Good (DDG) recognized for their contributions to the industry.

DDG gave its Diamond Influence Award to Shiona Turini, Beyoncé’s stylist, for her contribution to shaping and influencing diamonds in the cultural landscape, it said last week. DDG held the award ceremony at the JCK show in Las Vegas, which took place from May 31 to June 3.

Other recipients included the GIA, luxury retailer London Jewelers, and Ben Bridge Jewelers CEO Lisa Bridge. The awards acknowledged their work in implementing policies and programs that show the connection between a successful business, having a social purpose and caring for the community, DDG explained.

Designers, retailers, industry leaders and famous influencers attended the sold-out event, including jewelry designers Neil Lane and Meredith Marks, who is also part of the Real Housewives reality franchise. DDG raised an additional $50,000 through the sale of bracelets Gabriel & Co. designed specifically for the event.

The group will use the proceeds from the event to provide educational and entrepreneurship grants to youth living in the natural-diamond communities, it added.
