Diamonds Do Good (DDG) will present awards to three honorees — including Tiffany & Co. — at a Las Vegas ceremony next spring, recognizing their positive impact on the global diamond industry.

The organization is marking its 20th anniversary and is honoring “leaders whose vision, ethics, and innovation” are influencing the future of the diamond trade and its communities, DDG said last week.

Anna Martin will receive the GOOD Award for Lifetime Achievement to recognize her 40 years of pioneering leadership in the gem and jewelry industry, including as DDG chair and in senior posts at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

Tiffany, meanwhile, will receive the Vanguard of Sustainable Luxury Award for its dedication to traceability, climate action and other responsible-luxury efforts. And Chicago jeweler CD Peacock will take home the Community Impact Award for its charity work and its “leadership in demonstrating how natural diamonds create meaningful, lasting change,” according to DDG.

“Diamonds Do Good celebrates leaders who recognize that real success comes from combining strong business results with purpose-driven impact,” said incoming DDG chair Pete Engel. “These honorees embody the best of our industry. Their leadership motivates all of us.”

The organization will present the awards at its annual gala on May 28 — the night before the JCK Las Vegas show opens — at the Nevada city’s Venetian Hotel.

“These honorees embody the values today’s consumers care most about: responsibility, transparency, and genuine community investment,” Engel stated.
