David Yurman has appointed Carolyn Dawkins as its new chief marketing officer.
Dawkins will be responsible for leading the integration of marketing and cross-platform content strategies, the company said last week. She will also oversee the luxury jewelry brand’s e-commerce business with a focus on improving its user experience, brand storytelling, and innovation.
The executive joins David Yurman from Estée Lauder, where she was global chief marketing officer and senior vice president for Clinique. She previously served as director of Google’s BrandLab and held brand-marketing roles at L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble, Colgate, and Kellogg’s.
“Carolyn brings deep expertise and leadership cultivated from over 20 years of working across a range of tech, beauty and CPG [consumer packaged goods] industries,” said the retailer’s president, Evan Yurman.
Dawkins’s appointment is the latest of Evan Yurman’s hires to expand the jewelry brand’s executive team. Since becoming president in November 2021, he has appointed or promoted at least four people to the executive team.
