Christie’s will showcase a 15.49-carat sapphire ring at its upcoming auction in New York, where it has a high estimate of $1.8 million.
The piece centers a cushion mixed-cut Kashmir sapphire, embellished with round diamonds. It will be among the top lots at the June 9 Magnificent Jewels featuring the Azure Blue auction, Christie’s said Tuesday.
The sale features gemstones alongside notable private collections, offering a selection of historic and contemporary jewelry. Notable items include colored diamonds and gemstones, and pieces by houses such as Graff, Cartier and Bulgari.
Christie’s will lead the auction with two jewels: the Azure Blue pear-shaped, 31.62-carat diamond ring and a 5.04-carat, fancy-vivid-blue diamond ring. Each carries a high estimate of $8.5 million.

A pair of David Morris pendant earrings feature cushion mixed-cut Burmese rubies weighing 1.07, 1.08, 4.10 and 4.26 carats, accompanied by detachable pendants of modified pear brilliant-cut diamonds — one a 4.20-carat, E-color, VVS2-clarity diamond and the other a 4.23-carat, D, VVS1 stone — and two single-cut diamonds.
A ring starring an octagonal step-cut, 41.29-carat Ceylon sapphire flanked by tapered baguette-cut diamonds.
This David Morris necklace comprises oval and cushion mixed-cut Burmese rubies weighing from 1.02 to 5.03 carats, alternating between cushion and round diamonds. The two large diamonds are a 2.23-carat, F, VS2 and a 3.34-carat, F, VVS2 stone.

A Tiffany & Co. Art Deco ring from around 1925 bears a modified square step-cut, 6.01-carat Colombian emerald, with old-cut diamonds.
