A 10.03-carat diamond ring took center stage at a recent online jewelry sale at Christie’s, where it brought in $428,400.
The square emerald-cut, 10.03-carat, E-color, VVS1-clarity diamond ring, which sold within its presale estimates, was the top lot at the June 18 Jewels Online sale, according to the auction house’s website.
In total, the sale brought in $4.8 million. Many lots outstripped their estimates, with some selling for several times their high price. Christie’s also offered a range of colored gemstones and jewels from well-known design houses, including Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, and Cartier.
