Christie’s Geneva to Offer Largest Collection of JAR Jewels

A 25-piece collection of jewelry by JAR (Joel Arthur Rosenthal) is set to go up for sale at Christie’s Magnificent Jewels in Geneva next month, becoming the largest group by the designer to be auctioned.

An important art and jewelry collector accumulated the pieces, which include 15 pairs of earrings, over a 15-year period, Christie’s said last week. The entire grouping, called A Refined Eye — Fabulous Jewels by JAR, is set to go under the hammer on May 17.
