Large diamonds comprise six of the top 10 pieces that feature in the Christie’s online Paris jewelry auction.
One of the showcase items set to go under the hammer at the December 5 to 15 Joaillerie Paris sale is a modified lozenge brilliant-cut, 15.84-carat, F-color, SI1-clarity diamond ring by Cartier. It carries an estimate of EUR 250,000 to EUR 350,000 ($259,478 to $363,269), Christie’s said Monday.
Meanwhile, antique jewels from the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century will also be on offer. A Neo-Renaissance pomander bracelet bearing rubies, pearls and enamel (pictured directly below) by Jules Wièse for François-Désiré Froment-Meurice, based on sculptor James Pradier’s work, has an upper price tag of EUR 400,000 ($415,164).

It has an upper estimate of EUR 250,000 ($259,478).Christie’s will sell a bracelet with emerald-cut diamonds ranging from 3.10 to 5.34 carats in I to K color for up to EUR 250,000 ($259,478).A pear-cut, 18.02-carat, M-color, SI2-clarity diamond ring with faint fluorescence is estimated at EUR 150,000 to EUR 250,000 ($155,687 to $259,478).An emerald-cut, 8.01-carat, F-color, VS1-clarity diamond ring by Van Cleef & Arpels is anticipated to bring in up to EUR 250,000 ($259,478).A pear brilliant-cut, 5.05-carat, D-color, VVS1-clarity diamond necklace will be on the auction block. It carries a presale high price tag of EUR 180,000 ($186,824).This marquise brilliant-cut, 10.22-carat, K faint-brown color, VVS2-clarity diamond ring has an upper estimate of EUR 150,000 ($155,687).
